Banana Crumb Muffins

Looking for a snak during afternoon tea? Banana crumb muffins sounds perfect with tea, or coffee. Preparation time is less than 40 minutes, so you don't have to spend so much time in the kitchen.

what you need:
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 banana (mashed)
3/4 cup white sugar
1/3 cup butter (melted)
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoon of all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground cinamon
1 tablespoon butter
1 egg, beaten
10 muffins cups

directions:
- preheat oven to 190 degrees celcius (375F). Grease 10 muffins cups
- Mix 1 1/2 cups of flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Meanwhile, in another bowl beat together bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon into the prepared muffins cups.
-In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 2 tablespoon flour and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tablespoon butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeals. Sprinkle topping over muffins.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center of the muffins until it comes out clean.

Voila! Banana Crumb muffins are ready to serve.



*you can always subtitude all purpose flour with whole wheat flour and use low fat margarine instead of butter.
